Community Supported Agriculture
Our 2017 CSA program is now open for member registrations!

Strom Family Farm’s CSA program is a 3/4 bushel box of top quality, fresh-picked vegetables and herbs provided weekly or biweekly to our members. All of the produce is grown on our farm right here in Campton Hills, IL, and we will offer over 60 varieties of produce as it become available throughout the growing season. Although Strom Family Farm is not certified organic, you can rest assured that the food you purchase is grown using sustainable farming practices that protect, and even enhance, the environment.

The benefits of joining our CSA are many. As a member, you will not only get to experience fresh, locally grown produce, but you will know exactly where your food is grown and the farmer growing it. During the course of the season, our shareholders will receive a variety of produce ranging from the familiar – lettuce, peppers (hot and sweet), tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, and zucchini – to the not so familiar – acorn squash, spaghetti squash, eggplant, chard, kale, etc. What a great way to try new vegetables!

Our CSA has two options; full and half shares. Each option consists of an overfilled 3/4 bushel box of our fresh-picked produce. The full share is offered every week for 16 weeks from mid-June through early-October. Our half share is exactly half of that – 8 weeks or every other week from July through early-October. Pick-up locations will be on the farm or in Elburn, IL, at a preset time and location on weekends.
